Ken Bennett
Ken Bennett is a successful businessman, financial professional, and dedicated public servant with deep roots in Arizona. As a fifth-generation Arizonan, he grew up in Prescott and played a pivotal role as the CEO of Bennett Oil Company for over two decades. His commitment to community service extends beyond business, as he has served on the Prescott City Council and in the Arizona State Senate.

Business Leadership: Ken’s leadership at Bennett Oil Company exemplifies his expertise in the energy sector.
State Senate President: During his tenure as Senate President from 2003 to 2007, Ken demonstrated effective governance and strategic decision-making.

Mark Finchem
Mark William Finchem, born on April 24, 1957, is an American far-right politician who served as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives representing District 11 from 2015 to 2023. His background and career reflect a diverse range of experiences:
Michigan Roots: Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Mark’s journey led him to Arizona, where he made a significant impact on state politics.
Public Safety Service: Mark dedicated 21 years to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, serving as both a firefighter/paramedic and a law enforcement officer. His commitment extended beyond public safety, as he also operated a small ranch/farm operation.
Real Estate and Clean Energy: After retiring in 1999, Mark moved to Tucson, Arizona, where he became a real estate agent. Later, he ventured into sustainable energy as the vice president of Clean Power Technologies LLC, a company focused on generating and distributing energy wirelessly across the globe.
Education: Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in public policy from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Legal Studies (MLS) from the University of Arizona.
Mark Finchem’s political career includes serving in the Arizona House of Representatives, where he championed extreme ideas. As the Arizona coordinator for the Coalition of Western States, he opposed the activities of the Bureau of Land Management and supported the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in 2016.

Steve Zipperman
Steve William Zipperman, born in Los Angeles, California, is an attorney with a rich background in law and public service. Here are the key highlights of his career:
Military Service: Steve served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1974, demonstrating his commitment to duty and discipline.
Education: He earned a bachelor’s degree in 1977 and a graduate degree in 1986, both from California State University, Long Beach. Later, he obtained his law degree from the Southwestern University School of Law in 1990.
Real Estate and Business Lawyer: Steve’s professional journey includes working in real estate and serving as a business lawyer. His legal expertise spans various areas, making him a valuable asset in the legislative arena.
While Steve Zipperman faced a competitive Republican primary in 2022, his dedication to public service remains unwavering. His insights and experience will undoubtedly contribute to meaningful discussions during the forum.

Cathi is president of Center for Arizona Policy (CAP), a nonprofit advocacy organization committed to promoting and defending the foundational principles of life, marriage and family, and religious freedom. A total of one hundred seventy four (174) CAP-supported bills have been passed into law since CAP made its first appearance at the state Capitol in 1995.
As a mother, lawyer, and family advocate, Cathi knows that what happens at the state Capitol directly impacts our daily lives.
Cathi is an award-winning public policy leader. Arizona newspapers have recognized her as one of the ten most influential leaders and as one of the key people “with the juice” at the Arizona Capitol.
She is the recipient of the Family Champion Award from Focus on the Family, the William Wilberforce Award from Students for Life of America, and the Deborah Award from Family Life Radio. Alliance Defending Freedom recognized Cathi and CAP with the Alliance Award in 2014.
At the state Capitol, Cathi has led the effort to pass significant pro-life legislation, including the Abortion Consent Act, Abortion Clinic Regulations, and the Mother’s Health and Safety Act.
Cathi joined Center for Arizona Policy as Legislative Counsel in 1997. Now in her sixteenth year as President, Cathi has set an ambitious 3-year strategic plan for the organization with a vision that sees:
Arizona as a state where the sanctity of human life is protected and defended from its very beginning to its natural end
Marriages and families are esteemed and thrive with enduring generational impact
Religious freedom is affirmed, free from government interference.
Cathi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors and Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin. Cathi and her husband, Mike, reside in Phoenix and have two adult children.
